Thank you Greg, I appreciate the kind words.

My wife was the one who suggested I consider adding this one, so she gets some of the enabling credit

A big shout out to the fine folks in Vancouver at our only Omega boutique in the whole country (unbelievable I know).

I put a call into them around November expressing interest in the 321, and I was told outright it'd be a minimum two year wait.

Fast forward to last Friday June 3rd (a significant date for a couple of reasons which I will get to) , I was told my time had come. At first I thought they made a mistake After picking myself up off the floor, I was told the 321 was mine if I was still interested. Heck YA,!

Now its fitting that the call came on the third as many of you know by now, 3 is my lucky number! Also, June 3rd just happens to be the day when Ed White took the first space walk by an American wearing none other than ... the 321! How cool is that?

To top it off the watch arrived here on a Speedy Tuesday. I guess it was meant to be.

My photo skills are super poor, and many of you owners have already done a far better job of pictures and history, and details than I ever could....

With that said, I always wanted a really good chronograph, but the Daytona just never sang to me. When this was launched I immediately thought... that's a good chronograph. Vintage inspired, history and pedigree unlike any other.

To me, it feels special, like wearing art on the wrist and nothing like any other reference I own.

As a friend of mine who printed the shirt that I’m wearing says ... "everyone needs One Good Thing".

Anyway I hope you enjoyed my incoming. For me this is a very big deal and perhaps the last watch I buy in quite some time. I think it competes the collection (for now).

Congrats Brian!!! This is great news! More importantly, this is an exceptional piece!!!

I've been trying to acquire one since the initial announcement in January 2020. Since there are no OBs in Boston, I immediately contacted two local ADs. Unfortunately, I've learned the hard way that the only way to acquire one was to establish a relationship with an OB!

After multiple lobbying attempts, I was finally informed earlier this year that I've been allocated a piece, which has an expected delivery around July or August. I look forward to joining you in the near future! Please continue to add your photos / impressions! Enjoy this beauty!

Thank you Mark

I think there was some confusion at release amoung Omega AD’s.

I was also told by one of our AD’s in Toronto that they could “add me to their list” if I paid 50% up front … this made me uneasy with no expected delivery date, so I politely declined.

The more I read here and online, it seemed that the only way to buy was indeed through Omega Boutiques of which we only have one, clear across the country and two time zones

I decided to fill out their online questionnaire, back in November 2021 and to my surprise, I received a call within a few days. I had a really great chat with the SA, probably about 20 minutes I’d say. We talked watches in general and he was curious about my collection. I was honest and told him that I was new to the Omega brand, but that I wanted to own and collect iconic references. The new 321 was at the pinnacle of historic chronographs and I wanted to add it as a heirloom piece to my small collection. I guess that must’ve resonated with him.

I truly hope your allocation comes as expected Mark. I believe you will be as blown away as the rest of us with this reference

Best of luck going forward

Very pleased for you. Omega want these watches to go to collectors so I am not surprised it has come quicker than you thought. Wear in good health.

Thank you very much

This is true I spoke to my SA yesterday (just following up on the purchase) and he told me that allocation is still very tight and expected to be so for the foreseeable future. He added pretty much verbatim, that they want to see these go to the enthusiasts and avoid selling to “flippers”.

I called my local boutique to get on the waitlist. I'm #33 and they received 3 last year. They said that when a watch is ready to be sold, they have 24 hours to sell it so if you're not ready when they call your name goes back to the end of the list.

Interesting information Robert. I can’t imagine getting on a waitlist and not being ready to pull the trigger

I hope that somehow you land yours soon … I guess you never know when you’ll be contacted. Best of luck

Thanks. I would love to get it by August 2023 for a milestone birthday but realistically it'll be like 3+ years. It's like the mythical Rolex waitlist at an AD but at least I have history at my OB and they know my name.
