Royal Oak 37mm (15450) versus Daytona size

Anyone here own both the Royal Oak 37mm and Daytona? Curious how they compare in size and feel on the wrist. Pictures would be very helpful.

In my opinion, it's slightly smaller and thinner. The 26315st 38mm chrono is more comparable to the Daytona.

Thank you for the pictures! Now I get to start my near-impossible journey of acquiring a Royal Oak 37mm.

Case size might be similar size but the RO looks a lot smaller on the wrist because of the tiny dial.
I love the daytona size ('7 wrists) but the 15450 was to tiny for me. You should realy try it on before you buy. I bought the 15450 thinking it would wear like a daytona/exp1 as well, had to sell it.

Agree that for a 7" wrist the 15450 will look small, maybe even tiny. Below 6.4" or so, it will look perfect - in-between it's a tough call (and cue for the "39mm is perfect" crowd to chime in flexing 15202 wrist shots).

My wrist size is about 6.1” and so I’m actually trying to decide between the 37mm versus 34mm Royal Oak. Leaning towards the 37mm. Really wish these watches were available to try on in person.

37mm will be perfect for you. i have a 6 inch wrist and here's a mirror pic where the size is more reflective vs a close up wrist pic. i would personally not go any smaller and think this is the perfect size for me at least. it's a little bigger than a 36mm rolex and a bit smaller than a daytona

How does the 15467 fit on your wrist? It’s a killer watch.

I am surprised that your wrist is only 6”, from picture I would think it’s bigger than that, you must have very flat wrist.

How many links did you take out from bracelet?

Your bracelet look gorgeous also.

It looks very good on your wrist.

thanks yeah it's a flat wrist. i'm actually in between sizes on most bracelets so i had to get a 1.5 link, so took 3 out and put a 1.5 in. with 2 links out it was fine in the summer but way too loose in the winter

I’m exactly the same with 2 links out, but didn’t know 1.5 link was available. Where is the best place to pick these up?

AP boutique, they might have to order one which could take a month or so. i got lucky, they happened to have one in stock. cost me $225 with tax and makes the fit perfect

AP Boutique quoted £196 inc tax, which to be honest sounds a lot but thought it would be more. Needs to be done though as the fit at the mo isn’t quite right. They need to contact AP service center which is closed until next week so hopefully the lead time isn’t too long.

yeah a perfect fit is 100% worth that price imo. it made me enjoy the watch a lot more, i found myself not wearing it as often before this
