Great value independent service in London
I recently bought a ROO 25770ST from Diamond brothers in Hatton Garden.
It was running appropriately 15 seconds/day slow and needed a service. They also own London Watch Repairs and as part of the deal offered to service and polish at a trade price of £175 ( retail was approx £300 ) I was wary because of the amount written on forums like this saying nobody except AP can service properly and certainly don’t let anyone else polish but AP. I’ve had the watch back now for 48 hours, it’s running spot on, plus 1 second over 48 hours. The light polish of the bezel and case looks correctly done, very crisp and sharp. I would definitely use them again and in my opinion they have done an excellent service and polish for a very sensible price with a turnaround of just 2 weeks! |

Sorry I don’t as always same issue of file size too large, fed up with trying and no longer attempt to put pics up on this website!
They did assure me they were very experienced with servicing and polishing AP watches but I was still worried to be honest Now I have the watch back I really can’t see how AP could have done anything better for £1450 |

£1450 sounds wrong. I think this cost must have included a service? & maybe even a new strap.
What I’d be most concerned about is it still being fully waterproof, AP have a machine to test this and even when a watch has been reassembled by AP it doesn’t always pass this last test 1st time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

AP quoted £1250 for the service and £200 for a polish.
Watchfinder quoted £880 for service only. It was pressure tested as part of the service but not waterproof tested. It’s of no concern to me as I wear on leather strap and never take any of my watches in water ever (even when I had a Deepsea!) |
