Icon3 Golfers!

I’m a golfer who works in the industry as well. Curious to see what’s in your golf bag equipment wise? Ever been fit for equipment? Where do you play, public or private.

Would love to organize Rolex Forum golf event one day!

Thanks!

Our Canadian weather sucks for golf. Started with a King's set but looking to upgrade to a Titleist maybe? We'll see where my skills take me

Usually, play public courses on the west or east end of the GTA. I think that's where the best courses are at for a good value

Dream is to play at one of the courses on pebble beach ;)

What pray is what any golfer in his golf bag to do with Rolex watches moved to the correct forum.

Don't worry about the clubs. Find a good instructor and get a couple of lessons, and go from there. I promise you that this is the best route.

Taylor Made irons, Miura wedges, Adams woods, EvnRoll putter, Cobra driver. I was fitted for the irons about 15 years ago. Great decision as they’ve served me well for, you guessed it, 15 years. I don’t bother to get fitted for a driver as the new ones are so adjustable that I don’t see the point. I can’t wait to get out there again. Maybe another 4-6 weeks here in Minnesota.

Taylor Made M3 Driver
Tour Edge 3wood
Taylor Made rescue 2,3,4
Mizuno MP 18 irons 6-pw
Mizuno MP-T5 wedges in 50,54,58
Bettinardi BB1 putter. Also have a custom Taylor Made Spider putter.

I have gotten my last 2 iron sets fitted, and they do not match each other.
After April 15th, I am doing a full bag fitting with Club Champion. No new clubs expected this year but some new shafts may be in order.

I may go back to my previous Mizuno JPX tour irons. If they are good enough for Koepka, why are they not good enough for me.
Also getting back into the lesson groove this summer. I'm an 8 but have been stuck there for a few years now.

My wife and I both have Callaway sticks (Odyssey putters)
We’ve both taken some lessons.

We don’t take it seriously, it’s more fun that way.

I hardly play any more, stupid golf cart loving mechanized polo players of the world have ruined it for the most part.

I actually golf on the very cheap side. My dad passed me down a set of Wilson K-28 tour irons when I was 10 or 12. I learned to play well with those, and just regripped, and reshafted as needed over the years. They honestly still hit ridiculously smoothly and carry great distance wise even all these years later despite being 30 years old now. I still out hit people with much newer nicer equipment with them, so never cared to upgrade.

All of my woods and driver are a mix of older model Callaway, Taylor Made, Adams, and one old Wilson.

I like keeping the woods and driver the older models as well as I am a huge believer in the mechanics of the swing itself rather than all of this weight non sense. If I am hitting wrong in some way I practice and fix my swing. If I’m slicing or hooking it or something odd it’s ultimately my fault rather than the club and I work to fix it.

Loved golf at a young age and had a nice local course that would only charge $4 per round for youth in the summertime, so I played every day in the summer for years.

Didn’t have cable either growing up, so I spent a lot of time reading golf books to try and get my swing and mechanics of it all perfect.

I really miss golf. :( I wish I could get my kids playing, but courses are so unfriendly about kids playing now. The rate of play is so stupidly fast.

Don't play nearly as much as I used to. Finding 4 hour blocks on the weekends becomes more and more difficult, but I still try to get out 2-3 times a month.

I have really gotten into Bettinardi putters of late. Some of their 1/1 putters and custom work is amazing! Collecting the putters has become another hobby lately!

Betty has really made a push to release some amazing stock product. They do amazing mill work and kill for a few other putter companies.
