New INCOMING! IWC Lake Tahoe

Just collected this today.
I gotta give props to my SA at IWC Boutique in Singapore.
I was supposed to receive the IWC x AMG F1 team watch this month but for some reason, I was told that shipment got delayed (probably most VIPs wanted the watch for the upcoming Singapore Grand Prix).
Instead, he got me an allocation for this special piece!

He invited me to an intimate IWC launch event earlier this year without me being an existing client when I pop in randomly to ask more about the Lake Tahoe Topgun Pilot. I was told it could take up a year to get 1 in Singapore because the interest list is pretty long and priority are given to only existing clients.
I decided to support him and gotten the new Aquatimer (which i have my eyes on for a couple years but didn't pull the trigger) from him earlier this year in June.

He told me that he should be able to get me the IWC x AMG F1 by Christmas.
Fingers crossed. In the meantime, I have this beautiful piece from IWC!

Nice, but you listed your green one for sale on here because it was too big.

What made you buy the same watch again, but in color that makes a watch even appear bigger? Both are 44.5mm.

Congratulation, it’s a good looking but extremely big watch for most people

the green one doesn't speak to me as much as the white.

also the strap, the green woodland strap is a canvas strap with rubber overlay, so its not as pliable as the full rubber strap on the white lake tahoe.

the green one doesn't allow me to have a good fit while wearing it. it's either too tight or too lose for my liking plus it doesn't sit well in either configuration.

on the other hand, the rubber strap on the white lake tahoe gives me a better fit as the rubber wraps around my wrist better.

Fair points.

I look forward to seeing this watch in person at my local boutique.

That's a stunning watch but you can't wear it after Labor Day

Congrats

It's fine. Watches always look too big in photos. I have the LT as well. Was a great summer watch (have started wearing the Mojave Desert more since autumn started).

I am a big fan of the Big Pilot Perpetuals in Ceramic (have the Rodeo Drive and Mojave Desert) but, for me, I don't think the white would work at that size... would still love to see it though.
