New Appreciation for Seiko

I have always loved Seiko since I was a kid. This year I was fortunate enough to receive my Rolex grails WG Daytona and SS white dial Daytona. As I reflected back on my journey I missed the "fun" in the hobby. Started looking at Seiko again six month ago and added a few pieces. Last week I added the SPB179 the ice diver and SBP257J1. Love the watches and heres to the next journey in watch collecting

Some pics! Realized I paid less for both the new seikos than I did for the oyster band for Pepsi from AD.

Seiko makes incredible watches! I'm happy you've taken your long-standing appreciation to ownership.

The brand is one you can happily collect several of, and vintage is another amazing thing to look into.

Currently I wear my SRPE35J1 "King Samurai" daily and couldn't be happier.

This final image is from the eBay listing, where I bought both of them.

My Orange Monster is a very special watch to me, but with these having the ceramic bezel and sapphire crystal sets it apart for me personally.

Looking forward to your future posts about the Seiko collection you've got!

Sweet! Hopefully you're able to locate it and share some pictures.

Of the two Seiko's you posted above, which one gets the most wrist time?

Very cool Seiko's. I enjoy Seiko and even though I have a collection of Rolex, Panerai, Omega and others the Seiko's get a lot of wrist time. Mt favorite is the SLA033. It gets about 1/2 of all my wrist time.

Some lovely pieces you have there OP. I love it when people get as much joy from pieces that cost a fraction of their top pieces. It's a hobby after all
