Would you send this watch in to Breitling?

My Avenger II Seawolf's warranty expires at the end of December. A few of my other Breitling warranties also are expiring in the next several months so I decided to see how they were all keeping time. Many of them were very accurate, +/- 1 second after a day or so, but my Seawolf runs about 10-15 seconds a day fast (it's 5 seconds fast now after 9 hours or so). This does not necessarily bother me a ton as I have 6 Breitlings I rotate through, so every time I wear it I am winding/setting it anyway, plus this is my summer watch as it is the cobra yellow so it's only generally worn during leisure time, so being exactly accurate isn't so crucial. I just don't want to do/not do anything that will cause any damage to the watch long term.

What do you guys think?

Since you have others to wear, and it bothers you, I would send it in. 15 seconds would probably bother me on anything other than a vintage watch. Good luck

Absolutely, send that beauty in; it should not be off by as much as you described. I have the same watch and put a black alligator strap on it. Makes me smile every time I look at the dial on a beautiful sunny day. I found that mine gains time in the crown up position, loses time dial up, and remains steady in crown down - so I adjust as needed based on how it's performing. Good luck!

Ok, you guys have convinced me! I will be sending it in this week. Do you have any photos of it on the croc? I have never seen anyone do this but am very intrigued!

It may be worth checking to see if it is magnetised before sending it in. Easy to check and easy to fix though you may need to buy a de-magnetiser. They’re really cheap on Amazon.

I'll get back to you on the pic. I resized the pic several times and for some reason it won't upload. Will try again later.

This forum is really weird on photos, but if you have tapatalk on your iPhone or something that works much easier.

This X2! Plus the forum sometimes rotates the photo from your iPhone 90 degrees for no reason. I prefer browsing the forum on the desktop version of the site but use Tapatalk to upload all my photos.

Okay, finally resized the pics. Here you go - my Avenger Seawolf on the 22mm Alligator strap. This is the model 743P with the brushed tang. If your case is polished you might want a polished tang.

Very nice! I wasn't sure how that would work but it totally does!
