Rolex Red Sub 16680 dilemma!

Guys, after my recent purchase of a 1967 Rolex GMT I’m looking at this red Sub 1680
It’s a 1972, 3.3 million serial number, caseback engraved 1680 IV 72, what I believe is a mark IV ft first open ‘6’ black dial, rolex 9315 bracelet, fully serviced by rolex with strict instructions not to alter any thing in 2011 so it has the rolex certificate. The plexi glass was replaced but the original was returned as well.
It has the original rolex box and tag with matching serial number.
The guy has bought from the original owner a few years ago and its sat in his safe unworn since last service.
It all looks pretty good and hoping to get for £8500

Opinion please bearing in mind it’s a UK watch and our US friends can always get these a little cheaper!!!
Just want to make sure it all checks out.

I really like it, i think it would be a better buy thought at 7.5, but I guess if you intend to keep and enjoy it whats a grand.

The reason I've put two threads as that in the past I've had some great comments from different people on different threads so just wanted to capture everyone!

Sorry what I meant to say is some people view different threads (i.e. vintage not general) and I've had great comments from both so just wanted to be sure I'd not missed anyone!

I think it looks great, but has been a bot overpolished (see 7 o'clock lug). Other than that it is a beauty.
