Rolex deliveries to ADs (US)

Just curious if Rolex deliveries to ADs in the US are random or if they occur around the same times every week/month etc. would be interesting to know if there is a better time of the week/month to pop in and see what new has been received..

Similar to above, my AD gets them every two weeks.

Apparently they don't necessarily know in advance what is coming in each shipment. Does anyone know if this is true? Does Rolex not notify ADs what is in each shipment in advance of delivery?

From what I understood when my ad explained it to me is he lets his rep know what he needs and when the package is on the way he gets an email and knows it’s coming. Never a clue what’s inside and he doesn’t always get everything he asks for in that one shipment.

My AD gets an e-mail the day before the delivery, for security reasons the day, time and courier company change every delivery. I'm in the U.K.

You are assuming that you will be able to see what has been received

I'm in the UK too - my AD told me they get stuff sent by Royal Mail!
I queried it and said 'Really!???
He said 'Yeah, straight up, you'd be surprised the value of stock that gets delivered in annonamous little brown paper packages!
I must admit, I was quite shocked and still not 100% sure if he was just having a bit of fun with me or whether that really happens..

I read an old thread from around 2010-ish that Rolex use USPS in the US. Also when I bought my Sub ND from an out of state AD they insisted on using USPS registered mail as the most secure method of delivery

Rolex USA recently switched to FEDEX for RSC deliveries of serviced watches. I expect they do the same for AD shipments also.

ADs do get notified, but stocking plans vary by the ADs volume. This is one reason some use grey market backdoor sales. It ensures they get more volume and more restocking. The hot grey sellers prolly get more Rolex each month than an average AD does.
