Had my GMT IIc for about six months. it seems to be incredibly accurate. Loses maybe 10 secs a month.

How's your timekeeping on this watch?

Not as good as your GMT IIcs, I'm afraid. I've owned it since the beginning of July, and it's down 80 seconds, so around -1.3 seconds per day. But I can live with that.

I have a 1982 5513 thats been consistent +1 a day for the last 20 plus years.And even by todays standards most modern day wristwatch chronometers are by the almost 300 year old 18th century navigational standards imposed on John Harrison H4 watch quite laughably inaccurate .How about just 5 seconds slow after 63 days at sea,in one of the toughest environments known to man, not bad for a almost 300 year old watch.The fact is all Rolex movements over the last 40 years have shown incredible accuracy and longevity of life to be called chronometers.And as long as any movement Rolex or others can perform to a accuracy of around 99.994% to 99.999%. What more could anyone ask from any mechanical watch.

I don't have one any more, but when I did it was about +1 per day. Most accurate non-quartz watch I owned!

My Explorer II, which uses the same movement (3186) as the GMT, is -3 per day after about four months.

Had it six weeks. It is now around -2.3 seconds per day. I expect that to improve over time. It seems like after a few months they speed up slightly on average. Love the watch. Just had my sub calibrated. It is now +1.5 seconds per day.

Owned for almost a year. Consistently 3-4 seconds slow a day. Wish it was better but it's ok.
