Another member says it sits lower on the wrist than the older SD, what do you think?

7 inch i think & quite flat.

am getting some comparison shots with a sub uploaded now.

edit: i don't have any vernier callipers in the office but will measure later at home.

Interesting. Looks like the lug to lug distance is shorter compared to the Sub.

The end links are bad no way I'll be persuaded otherwise but they are functional if not asthetically great, SD thicker than the sub. Lugs looks a tad thinner than subs which is good and the crown guards much better asthetically compared to the subs id say.
Looks superb great watch - Rolex put a dome on it and ill buy one.
