Oh yes you are right of course. I just meant that’s an outcome Spartans fans could take to heart after losing in that round. “Well, we did lose to the new National Champs” feels a little better.

I feel like there have only been 2 outstanding teams so far in the tournament: Villanova and Duke with maybe WVU and Clemson in a distant 3rd and 4th. Purdue and Kansas could also be dangerous but the problem is, all these teams are in the right side of the bracket. The left side is wide open.

Enter Kentucky. Don't forget UK beat WVU at WVU. I would rank Duke, Nova, Kentucky, Kansas, and then the rest.

I was referring to only the 2 games played in the tournament so far. The 5 point win over 12 seed Davidson is why I kept UK out of my list. However, as I mentioned before, UK has benefited the most from all the upsets. They are almost a lock for making the F4 now whereas no other team really is.

There are only 4 teams left in the tournament that do not have a top 15 offense or defense rating. Kentucky, FSU, KState, and Loyola Chicago. That's going to be trouble but again UK will get to face at least 1 if not 2 of these teams.

I hear you but don't forget that Kentucky scored 78 on Davidson without hitting a single 3. Next game v. Buffalo, however, Kentucky hit 7 of 15 from deep and scored 95 points. Kentucky also has statistically the best 3-pt defense in the country. I'm biased of course, but I also think Kentucky will be in very good shape next weekend (assuming this weekend goes well) by not having to face giants this weekend.

Good point, Duke vs. Kentucky sure would make for an exciting championship game

So much for Kentucky. Will Michigan finally be the one high ranked seed that takes advantage of all the madness from the left side of the bracket?
