My Trip to Melbourne (Pics)

Had some business to attend to , but I took a few pics along the way , I figure some of you guys haven’t been and might want to see what it’s like

Steve's home turf I was going to PM him but it was spur of the moment

I’ve been wearing the YG sub quite a bit lately , might take Pam with me this time :D

Here we are , express boarding passes in hand

737 today , workhorse of the skies , 800 something kms , shouldn’t take much more than an hour !

After a short flight , we land a-ok with bit of turbulence on the way down.

Driver picks us up and we’re off to the hotel in the cbd , from the airport its like 1/2 drive to get to town.

Melbourne looks like Sydney , but had trams running through the city’s centre

A lot of historic buildings , but not many sky scrapers like syd , still nice!

A lot of cool little Lane ways with restaurants & cafes on either side and sitting areas in the middle like a strip I should get a coffee before heading to the hotel

I lived and worked in Melbourne for time about 10 years ago. I loved it.
It's a great city to live in. I still have many great friends that I met there.
I hope you enjoyed it.

At least it’s got a tub I can relax in later

Have a quick shower to freshen up after flight

Heh check this shower , you set the temp instead of adjusting hot/cold , problem is I don’t know what temp I want my shower , so I set it to 50 ohhh too hot that’s the wife’s settings , I think around 40 is good for me :yup:
