Dang proud of my Wife (plus Rolex content)!!!

My wife is a neonatologist with Colorado Children’s Hospital and was asked to participate in a brief introduction video to some of the hospital’s physicians. She is a very introverted person and agonized over doing this for weeks. When the day for filming came she thought it went “okay”.

After seeing the end result I was simply amazed. I mean, I know how great she is but this takes it to a new level. I still cannot figure out why she married me. So at least her mother and I can agree on something.

Sorry, the video file is not recognized by the attachment function so I cannot embed.

There are also a couple of shots where her Yachtmaster makes it into the scene.

Jason. I played the vid twice - actually got misty eyed. What a wonderful, compassionate soul she has. Indeed, a beautiful, talented lady.
Remember, today was "Universal Happiness Day" - and this was a great post for the day!

(Yes, did see the YM)

Blessings,

That's awesome! Your wife has a very special but very tough job. I'm not sure I could work in pediatrics. She looked totally at ease in front of the camera.

I was searching for the right words, but you nailed it! My wife is an RN and when she started her career she was sure she wanted to work pediatrics. But after a very short time she realized that, emotionally, she just could not cope with it. She has since worked in adult critical care. She still comes home and cries for her patients, but it’s easier for her to cope with the suffering of adults.

Your wife has a very special heart.

Well done Dr. Reynolds! Truly an angel. God has a special place for those who work on behalf on the most innocent and helpless among us.

Thank you.

I do not know how people in these medical fields do their job day after day with the extreme emotional toll it can take. Some have an ability to disconnect. My wife is not one of those. She does agonize over care decisions. And she is in a position where she is counseling parents on life or death issues daily. I really think that the fact that she does care so much for all parties involved has helped her to build that trust and rapport that parents can rely on.
