ROO - Should I
Guys, what are the collectives thoughts on the Offshore black with red stitching? I had a Safari, liked it but somehow wore it very little. Then I had a chance to trade it out for a piece I couldn't do without and was able to receive more for it than I ever thought I would. So I moved it. I have a FC 44 and a 15400, 6 rolexes, 4 Pateks and a Lange. So I am not trying to fill any holes.
I just think the black with white and red is a good combo. What is the "best" color combo on the 42mm Offshore? |

The black is awesome, and it looks amazing on the bracelet!
I love the blue though.

The blue/orange combo is not listed which would have received my vote, so my vote goes to black/red.

I got the black/red in February and just sold it a couple weeks ago. I loved it at first but the red stitching on the strap got old real quick, to me at least. It didn't get any wrist time after the first month so I decided it was best to let it go. Now the RG ROO on leather is incredible, if you can find one!

I loved the look of my black/red and found that it matched everything very well. Wore nice and was a beautiful piece.
My only complaint is the strap. While many people love the tang buckle (I do too on my T3 and Legacy) I do not like it on a horned back strap!!! I found that every time I wore the watch, the pin seemed to be separating the different layers of the strap showing almost daily wear to leather. These straps are not cheap and for the most part I am an OEM kinda guy so wasn't impressed. If it was on rubber or deployment I probably would have been happier. But from your choices, Black Red gets my vote |

I'm a bit biased.
That's on a black rubber strap. Switched back to the grey leather just yesterday. Looks amazing on both strap options. Good luck 👍 |

I wish you didn't post the pic of the grey looking so good.
Haven't been able to find the grey in person to try on. I see the black and red more sporty the grey as more subtle yet stylish. What to do? |

+1 biased for the Grey. And so is Stan Wawrinka, who had it on his wrist in Roland Garros last week. It's an astonishing piece, very versatile. While I like all the models in the 2014 42mm ROO line up, the grey for me is steps ahead of the others and wins hands down!

Stuck, grey or black/red. No bad choice and I can get either, both available. More comments on the grey, is it those who have actually voted with their wallet have gone grey?

Voted for and gone for the Grey. I actually wish I had two, so that I could leave one always on leather and the other always on rubber. Great piece overall!
