looking to buy rolex 16800 matt dial , legit check .

Hello expert , I'm looking to buy a 16800 sub, I have a gmt 1675 but i have no knowledge about submariner. wonder if you guy can give some advice .
attached with some pictures. does it look legit ? bezel, dial , tritium marker period correct to the watch . is the case over polished . Thanks

Watch in the pictures is fine. Crown guards are terribly over polished, no fixing that. Hard to tell from the pics but the clasp may have been replaced at some point.

What you may or may not get after you purchase is a different story.

Jut curious why you'd want to spend thousands of dollars on something you have "no knowledge about."

Is that in USD, and is that the going rate in your area?

I just bought an unpolished, recently serviced M-serial Sub for less than that. Perhaps it’s the pic, but that bezel looks like the teeth are almost gone.

I’m not good with real vs. fake or whether something is over polished, but to my untrained eye (comparing it to my Sub), that watch looks like it’s seen a wheel quite a few times.

Seems expensive for that example, but I’m not up to speed on the used Sub market in Malaysia.

GENUINE, and case and dial look all original.
Date code on bracelet would confirm if its original too.

getting difficult to get vintage Rolex and its cost more in my area if found one . Hope to get a nice example soon . Thanks for your input
