OP before you take it to an official rolex store to get it serviced and authenticated. make sure you understand that, if the watch turns out to have been stolen -- rolex will keep the watch and NOT give you it back.

the seller or who it to you may not have even known it was stolen. i always prefer to get it verified by a well known rolex watch repair guy or something.

I am not 100% sure and it may be the quality of the picture but the hair on the back of my neck is standing up as well.

Rolex has no authority to keep the watch.

If watch is on their stolen records list, they WILL keep it.

You will receive a letter from a solicitor near your city advising the fact its on "Rolex Stolen Record List" and until ownership can be confirmed it will be held.

Not in the US. They aren't law enforcement and can't keep your property.

The example I quoted was New York based
Indeed it was about a 10 page thread on this forum
And it was an actual case from beginning (held by Rolex) to End (released some months later)

If it’s listed as stolen, it’s not your property! It belongs in most cases to the insurance company that paid out on it.

And as Adam stated, there are many cases (included on this forum) of this being the case.

He took it to a Rolex Boutique.

I dont think that was either an AD or RSC?

Watch looks fine. OP confirmed as such by taking to an AD (Rolex Boutique = AD), and then to an RSC for service. At least that's how I read it...
