The only way to really find out if it's authentic or not is to have the caseback opened (Watch), or the bracelet authenticated by RSC.

The clasp embossing says "RBGSFRKED SNSAWABE <ROLEX> D 12 STEELNOX 62523N.18"

Mine says the same as this and mine I bought from Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons on Sheikh Zayad Road, Dubai PO Box 212b I have still got the receipt.

So now I am confused

the original band shown is fake and the gibberish bands are fake also, regardless of where you bought it

Question, Thanks.

Greetings.

I have a question about a band and part I just purchased for my wife's watch.

Background: The watch is a 1979 model women's SS oyster with no date, and came with a spring bracelet which finally "gave up the ghost". (Spring links are shot.) The watch is authentic, I purchased it myself new from a retail jeweler. I've had the watch serviced by Rolex USA a few times over the years.

Question: I bought a band from an E-Bay seller who claimed the band was authentic.

I bought some extension links (the band needed some more, the original was missing a couple) from another E-Bay vendor who claimed the links he was selling were authentic.

My question is: Why are they different? Are they different styles? or is one counterfeit?

Thanks

(the picture below of 3 extension links are of the "real links") I bought from an E-Bay vendor)
