Agree my friend. But I doubt it.

The taking heads are all too busy playing their games.

News just came out stating it was not happening.

My concern if it does, is that it won’t do enough. Yes, lockdown for two weeks or even a month to cut this off at the head. I’d be game for it. Absolutely.

But the facts appear to show it won’t stop anything at all. If even a handful of people have it. If even 1 person had it, it’s game on all over again.

That to me is the real scary part.

Idiots.

I just read about a party in Ewing county. 47 people in a 550 sq ft apartment.

Shocking at how stupid people are.

Reasonable exceptions and a small thing for me, but major immediate layoffs for all businesses that were “non-essential”. They are the ones who should be first in line for any business stimulus. I have been overnighting cash to family members who were caught completely off guard. Used Adult Signature Required due to amounts.

BTW, anyone shipping a watch via USPS, I learned they suspended collecting signatures in my area. On Registered and other signature required shipments, they knock on the door and are sure an adult takes the package but no signing the mobile device carriers use.

I don’t know UPS or Fedex guidelines but a good question for their customer care dept. before shipping.

Did you mean you transferred funds to their account?

Retailers in Australia are already refusing possible contaminated cash as payment (scan cards only) and some are not even allowing customers to approach the staff as there is a barrier line meters from the counter top.

Some pharmacies now have tables outside their premises where customers can submit prescriptions and they are only allowing access to one customer at a time to purchase items inside the shop.

It must be difficult in some countries because of the population numbers but we know that distance and isolation is paramount.

Mortality rates being cited based on purely China data need to be relooked at.

Yup. Paul.....
Waiting for Joey....
Article is riveting. My heart goes out to front line medical heroes sacrificing themselves to heal the afflicted. So stressful. And the pit in the stomach, thinking of all the incredible hard work, creative thinking at the blink of an eye, determination to treat the sick no matter the existing barriers, electing not to eat or drink during the shift, and more - all this is impossible to fathom.
I am so thankful I am retired. At this stage of my life, I wouldn't be able to keep up if went back to work now.

Lungs feel fine now. Just a low grade fever. I'm not sure if it was the passage of time or whether azithromycin killed it off. I know "antibiotics don't kill viruses" but it feels like they just did.

As for whether it's a disaster or not, do the numbers tell the whole story? If someone shows up at a hospital and is dying, why would testing them for an incurable virus be a priority

Did I read this correct that over 80% of patients that require/go on a ventilator, die?

Glad you are over the hump symptom-wise. The Azithromycin May have staved off bacterium that could have led to pneumonia.

The ER doc in NOLA mentioned it’s use too.

thanks Seth. Given that someone here lost a father, I know I lucked out compared to many, but hopefully my posts prepared other members for what a mild/moderate case could be like

I've never had chest pain or pneumonia before, so it's all pretty new to me and I assume it's caused by this new virus

Very interesting read, thanks for sharing. Albeit scary I much rather know the facts as more gets discovered about this virus.

I'm also very interested to read Joey's thoughts on this or other things he's heard recently.
