Overall a great experience with MY.

Communication excellent. Polite and responses within the same day, basically within hours. Regular updates.

Was quoted ~8 weeks for repairs but was pleasantly surprised with a ~4 week turnaround.

Fedex return was 4 days to Sydney, Australia (including a weekend).

A world of improvement with the bracelet.

Stretch between all links has been tightened. polish, brushing reinstated. Deeper gouges were unable to be removed as expected.

The only negative for me were the machine marks left on the underside of the bracelet. They are unseen when worn and only on the underside.

My 93150 was in shocking condition. It still rattles like hell but it is expected from this I believe.

Since it is friction, is there any logic to applying a tiny drop of oil to the links and pins to lessen that friction? There may an argument that the oil would keep any dirt or grit trapped in the links, exacerbating the problem. Also, no matter how little oil is used, it may be too messy.

Has anyone tried it?

Welcome back Michael! I have one of your restored 93150 bracelets. Although the corners of some of the outer link inside area are indeed chamfered, the bracelet as a whole feels better and tighter than a NOS, beautiful work my friend. Ok guys so here's the follow up regarding my restored rolex president by Michael Young.

I have received my president bracelet after 6 weeks. All went well and I am very happy with the final results. I am a perfectionist, so I cannot say 100% happy with it but let's say 90%, which is a good percentage considering the condition of the bracelet when it was sent.

The bracelet was stretched and worn out pretty much from normal wear and tear but was not too bad either. No breaks or major damage, just the regular worn edges of the center links especially the top ones where you could even see the pins that attach the outer links with the center ones. The clasp would open easily and was unsafe. As for the outer edges of the outer links, they were worn and rounded instead of sharp and angled. The finish was also mostly shiny and the brushed vs polished surfaces were all mixed up.

The result of the works that MY did are amazing. The edges are sharp, the stretch is gone almost 95%, the center links look great and there are no signs of the repairs thay were done to the holes where the pins go. Even the center links on the end links are restored and look very sharp and nice. The color of the strap looks great and fresh, the high polish vs brushed is superb; all even and flowless. The back side of the strap has also been restored and refinished and brushed, there were dings that has disappeared now, some of the marks from the clasp are still there but it takes a very good eye to see them, not that it really matters since they will return from the first wear! The clasp has been worked on, the pin that hinges the two parts was very loose and now it is tighter but there still is some play, which is absolutely acceptable. The rolex logo has been polished and although worn out, still looks good. I had asked michael to replace it but he convinced me to keep it for originality. There are a couple of things that I would have liked to be done differently though. First, the inner sides of the outer links are usually high polished and reflect nicely on the high polish of the center links, sadly, and although I have highlighted this matter to Michael while he had the bracelet, they have finished it with the brushed finish, it does look great, however I would have preferred it to be kept as it was in the original finish; second, the clasp does not lock perfectly and would snap open if the hand is clapped hard for example; third, if you look closely and probably might need a loop, you can see some imperfections on the sides of the links where they meet the center links.

Having said all that, the outcome is very pleasing. The bracelet feels tight and nice, looks great, and I absolutely love it. Yes I would have preferred if the small things that I just mentioned were perfected because that would absolutely have been a blast. I prefer it this way than to have kept it stretched and worn out.

Communication with Michael was a bit slow but certain. He is very collaborative and helped me with the return shipment arrangements and it really was a great thing.

All in all, 5 stars for Mr Michael Young. I highly recommend his services and the whole experience was a very positive one. I am very grateful that he is doing such a great job and I feel that now the value of my watch has been boosted, the watch feels much younger and like new now :)
