Are all S39 serial hulks fake?
"S39" is a known serial nuber used by VSF, a counterfeiter in China. I'm wondering: are there real Rolex 11610LV's that have this serial, or does it definitely indicate a fake?

Since serial numbers are now random, how would any of us know the answer to that question? If I had to guess, the replica factories base their fake serial numbers on real ones.

The clasp code and other visible discrepancies also give a good indication. Finally, feeling the watch, locking and unlocking the clasp will give you a good indication of its authenticity without opening it up and inspecting the movement. |
