Chapel Hill is a fun place to visit, and it's not a bad drive from Charlotte. My sister goes to NC State so I've made that drive a few times.

Too funny...

So, I just ordered my first Rolex - an OP 114300, and I can't tell you how excited I am. Can't wait to get my hands on it. Anyway, while doing some research on the watch, I bumped into Joe's review of the very same watch. That, eventually led me to my browsing around the Rolex Forums, and eventually finding this thread. Love the internet.

Looking to put together a get together for the Carolina Watch Club in Charlotte on May 31st @ 7:30PM. I know it's the holiday week so may be hard to get people, but wanted to pass along the word.

Shoot me a PM if interested and I'll pass along the information (trying to put reservations together for a restaurant in Charlotte so need to have a decent sense of numbers).

Had a pretty good turnout last night - maybe next time we can get some members from the forum! An original owner DRSD was there - got the watch as a high school graduation gift back in '77. Wish my parents were that cool.
