How do boxes, books and papers get 'lost'?

A friend of mine rents temporary corporate housing and a recent renter was in town for a company awards presentation. When his crew went in to clean the unit this was in the trash.
My friend knows I have a passing interest in Rolex so he dropped by with this little present for me. I told him it was valuable but he traded it to me for a cup of coffee.

With typical corporate inefficiency the books and that link belong to a TT sub but they had mixed the papers up with a Seadweller no doubt given away the same night.

Let the horror show begin...

That's a completely fake box set and was found exactly where it belongs.

If they gave away the watch that was in that box, you know what that must say about the watch itself, right?
