15202 v. 15400
I have a very small wrist (6 inches) and the subc is probably the biggest I can go. I've tried on the diver a few times and it hangs off both sides of my wrist. If I wanted to buy a royal oak, would the 15400 work or does it wear significantly bigger than the subc? Is the 15202 the only 39mm royal oak? AP's website indicates that the only 15202 made is the "ultra thin" with a blue dial. Does AP make a 39mm royal oak thats not ultra thin and has either a black or white dial? What would you all suggest I do if I want to get a royal oak?
Also, can the SS royal oak be put into a leather strap like the gold can? |

here is all your 37mm and 39mm options:
https://www.audemarspiguet.com/en/wa...-by=collection The 15400 is going to be bigger than your sub, mine wears bigger than my GMT II. I would go with the 15450 and if the budget allows the 15202. The current 39's are all ultra thins. With 6 inch wrists, i would think the 37mm would be a perfect fit. |

Find a mint used 15300...It is the perfect RO and much prefer it over the 15400.
The 39mm case has perfect proportions! Also the 15202 is amazing and love as well! Both fantastic watches and perfect in their own way!

What do you mean it hangs off your wrist? There are small strap size options that would keep it place FYI.

In other words, if the end to end length of the watch case was, let's say 58mm, the top of his wrist might only be 53mm. |

15450 will fit your wrist size perfectly. You'd be crazy not to get it

15300 is 39mm as been said, but only used models now. Also try the 15450 might be OK too.

I have a 6.75" wrist and was considering a 15202 over a 14500 because of its smaller case size, however - to my surprise the 15202 didn't fit my wrist well because of the stiffer bracelet compared to the 14500. On the 14500 the more flexible bracelet grips the wrist tighter and just flows around, looking well-proportioned but with notable presense while the 15202 stiffer bracelet just sticks on the sides of my wrist from the case, looking odd and ill-fitting.
If my wrists were 6" and I was looking for a RO, I'd probably consider 15300 first and then 15450. The 14500 will probably be too big.

For a 6" wrist. Definitely go 37mm with the 15450. It wears like a 39-40mm watch. I don't know how your wrist is but some could potentially pull off the 15400 if it is relatively flat. 6" is pushing quite a bit.
I actually think the 39mm is still too big, but again depends on your on wrist configuration. I get everyone likes the 15300. For the size, it's great. But atheistic I'm not a big fan of the AP logo at the 12 o'clock. 39mm have to go with the 15202. It's just beautiful! |

Agree with the 15450 comments. I have a 7.25"-7.3" wrist, and while i prefer the 15400 to the 15300, it's only by a hair. If my wrist was 7" or smaller, I'd be going 15202 instead. The Royal Oak wears big for most people.

Had a 15400 and my wrists are 7.75. Found it to wear too large for my liking. Go with the 15202....

I thought the 400 was small on my 7.5" wrist.
