I really don't buy this. In all seriousness isn't it fair to say the bakelite inserts aren't in the original colours they were from the factory? I mean does anyone remember what colour they were? I'd imagine they were once quite vibrant too. I'm inclined to believe what passes for pepsi ceramic was just the only way to make blue and red from one piece of ceramic. Not that this isn't an admirable feat, just not as good looking as the aluminium pepsi due to less colour restrictions. All this 'inspired by the original 6542' just sounds like rubbish to me. The 116719 is worlds apart.
