Rubber B for Steel Sky Dweller on Oyster Blacelet

Since I have Blue Sky Dweller for 2 years and looking for the right replacement strap. Finally got an email from Rubber B on March 19th that Rubber B for SkyD on Oyster Bracelet is available now. I just got the strap today after last week ordering and would like to share. Please visit Rubber B site for more information. I hope it will be useful for SkyD lovers like me. Enjoy.

Looks good imo! Gives it a sporty appearance. If there was a super hero nickname, it would have to be Superman after seeing this combination.

I had a Rolex ‘counter jumper’/staffer try to tell me that swapping a Rolex Bracelet for a RubberB or Everest would potentially compromise the warranty we had a spirited conversation, he was somewhat lost for and coherent reason. They do like to guard their territory but do go a little far

That’s insane... When I got a RubberB I actually took it to my AD (where I bought the Sky Dweller) and they kindly assembled it for me free of charge.

Any longer term review on this subject. Or people generally prefer the oyster bracelet on the skydweller?

Looks nice. I would do this if I could wear a Skydweller but my wrist isn’t quite big enough. I’m definitely a bracelet guy but in the summer and for certain types of travel (where I’m more active) rubber is perfect.

How easy or hard did you find it to remove the bracelet and get the strap on? Actually really intrigued by the rubber combo and would love to try it but I’m always wary of the DIY effort involved

I have dabbled with Rubber B and Everest. However, I prefer the tang buckle as if I am removing the bracelet I want to keep the clasp with it and in good condition.

Also, some of these aftermarket straps fit better than others, some seem to require bending the springbars. Fitting them isn't always easy.

That's partially true, at least here in the US. I currently have my 116500 on an Oysterflex bracelet but if I needed to turn it in for warranty work I would need to put the Oyster bracelet back on. The RSC would frown on the Oysterflex since the watch didn't come that way. Really not a big deal.

Very nice ! But for me, since the oysterflex with the metal frame (security, reliability) i can't put any other silicone strap, not trust.

I admit that the blue rubber doesn't do much for me. That's weird, because I love blue. Maybe I'm not keen on the blue and red together.

But, wow, the black rubber on black dial absolutely zings me.

Black on black looks crazy amazing. Nicer than the Blue and Blue IMO.

I might think about it for my Black skyD.

I wouldn't the black / red strap though. A bit too much.

I just wish Rubber B would offer a tang buckle or butterfly clasp option. I hate not having the choice to resize beyond the extension link.
