PP for son

I got my son his first watch recently which was a V Tech Star Wars Stormtrooper Watch. LOL the real question is what would be a good PP watch for me to hand down to him?

the one you wear all your life

seriously though, he could grow up and not care one bit about what it was and toss it in a drawer.

I think they're all great in their own way, I think what makes an heirloom Patek special for the son/daughter is growing up watching a parent enjoy the watch and building memories where you were wearing it before passing it down. The memories are where the value lies imo.

That said, I've always thought of the Calatrava line as a great heirloom piece, it will be worn on special occasions most likely and in moderation (to the extent the style isn't with current trends, etc).

All the best as you decide!

Choose the piece you want - all any son wants is the watch their dad loved.

Grandmaster chime would be a piece I’d love to receive from my father.

Would love that on a well worn nato with some bracelets. Good choice.

Most likely he will want a sports model so try them all on and see which one you like the most.

I would pass your favorite and most worn Patek to him.
