C8 update

Apologies, but I had to make a new thread now that she has her new shoes on.

Absolutely loving every minute of it...shoot, I might just go to sleep inside the car tonight!

Jesse, I am sorry to be the one that honestly replies, but that is the ugliest vehicle I have ever seen. HOWEVER….I want to help. Let's arrange a one to one swap; my 2015 Ford Fusion Hybrid for that…. Car.

You will thank me in the long run ol pal

LOVE the color! Congrats! They really made substantial improvements on the interior and quality control. I've driven my mother's C8 a few times and really enjoyed it.

Thanks gents! I'll take the C4, Paul.

The 9 hour road trip happened from pickup in Atlanta back home to FL! But once we move to Monterey here in a month, oh boy. I've already told my wife about the PCH trips, Napa, Sequoia, Yosemite...I GUESS we'll have to take the SUV sometimes to bring the boys along, but it'll be hard to leave this guy at home.

Ah too bad you weren't in Atlanta for a while longer. I could take you to some amazing driving in the north GA mountains.

Car looks sharp.

I used to ride my moto up from Atlanta through dahlonega out to blue ridge. Was one of the best rides ever

Looking good!

I think I'm going to enjoy it in it's current state for now, as many of the car folks around TRF have advised. I do have a splitter that I have to install and I'm going to darken the white part of the taillights, but those are minor.

Thanks gents!

It's funny - a year ago, we wanted a fun 3rd car to take the boys in; that was the 1-series. Driving that thing made me realized I wanted more power / something newer with more bite. Didn't think it would be a Corvette, but the C8 just lured me in way too deep!

umm, this is FL. It's not about darkness, it is about reflecting those searing rays. And yes you want the front top strip. Your hands on the steering wheel will thank you when entering the car. Yet yeah, i feel she needs a few shades darker. Not 'Stormtrooper' dark, just a bit darker. imho, all good either way.

Ah, but you forget - we're moving to Northern CA!

I'd be doing it more for looks...but I can definitely be swayed to throw some on.
