That hooded lug leather strap is bad. Hopefully there's a regular bracelet option because it might look a lot better. Just trying to be positive among these so-so releases (if they're real).

Look at Tudor’s sketch teaser. My guess is that’s the area where the quick change strap mechanism is housed.

I hope the YM1 doesn’t upsize to 42mm. It was the last of the classic proportions

This strap-connection must make the lug-to-lug feel like 60mm+.

Nah, this must be a joke.

This thing can't be real.

Why can’t it? Someone has already posted the prototype Navy Submariner model it’s based on.

The two "dive watches" teased were the YM2 and the Seadweller. Note that one had white gold surrounds (YM2) and one had yellow gold surrounds (Seadweller).

We haven't seen the fluted bezel watch but it's likely just another Datejust or Daydate so it wouldn't really warrant an IG post. It could be a Skydweller though I guess.

Yes, but some designs are in the vault for a reason, and should stay there.

If this is real, they should put it in their oldest, most dusty safe in the back of their archives and throw away the key.

If they are wanting to debut a new strap interchange system, it does appear that this model would be the only one with the space to accommodate what’s in their teaser though. Maybe it’s more of a test bed model. Tudor did release the hideous North Flag model...this submariner model kinda has the same vibe. So I can see Tudor bringing it out actually.

Well, the strap system on this looks like an utter disaster. Visually it makes the lug-to-lug appear extremely long, and I can't imagine it will look right on the wrist at all.

The North Flag is sort of odd, but in a good way in my opinion. It is off-kilter, but sticks the landing. Proportionally it works.

This looks like it fell down from the ugly tree, hit every branch on the way down, then the branches snapped, fell down and hit it again. And then the tree tipped over and fell on it.

Well at the end of the day I hope he’s wrong about all of this. But, I can kinda see how things line up for that Tudor model at least to fit with the teasers we’ve seen so far.

Exactly. He is a joke. I guess it gives us something to talk about until tomorrow when we get the real releases rather than this tabloid bs.

Nope, not feeling it either. Looks weird since it clashes with the bi-color bezel. Too much going on.

Agreed, hoping this is an elaborate photoshop troll.

By the way, even if this is true, there is still hope for a Tudor sub I think. Aren't the beveled marks on the bezel quite a bit wider in this teaser picture than on the SKXitmariner?

They will probably offer both sizes, but if it does come out in that black config then it really looks like a 42mm Sub with thin lugs, so could be very popular.
