I do like the blue ombre WG DD40

Stumbled across this one. This looks pretty sharp! I think I like this over the regular blue romans DD. Seems to be more legible too. Curious to see some real pics of this one.

Oddly enough you can have the exact same one in platinum now too

I do love this ombre dial on the WG DD36, but I hate that it has diamonds! That's such a killer for me. That blue ombre dial without diamonds on the WG DD36 would be a very easy "yes" from me.

You are in great luck then.

Rolex introduced the exact DD36 configuration you asked for.

In an otherwise quiet W&W for Rolex this is by far my favorite

This one is killer.

The new DD dials are fantastic across the board. Really love that the 36mm's got some love. The 40's have some nice additions too.

Really like this as well as the other Ombre options. Interesting that they kept the bright blue dial as well. I prefer this one.

I am ready to trade my blue dial 40mm WG for the new 36mm blue Ombré dial.

You could potentially do a dial swap.

Yes, that is a possibility as the model numbers are the same. After owning the DD YG 36mm for a bit now, I am liking that size better than the 40mm.

Thank you for the great suggestion.

Sure thing! What's your wrist size out of curiosity? I'm debating if I want a 36 or a 40 with my wrist that's just over 7". Every time I try one on, I can't decide! The new dials and roman numerals make that decision even harder.

My wrist size is about 6.75” and the 36 is a great fit. It is also the shape of my wrist. The 40mm 11 series GMT fits better than the Sub.

Amazing looking dial. Definitely much better tone of blue than standard one that we saw in the past year
