With the new blk/grey bezel which SS is being replaced?

Not this year but Coke to replace Pepsi is my bet.

All the existing variations are still on the website, nothing is getting dropped at this time.
Logically speaking(which isn’t very Rolex-like)there will be less of each variation with production now covering 8 versions versus 6.

My hunch was always the Pepsi would not be discontinued, Rolex puts way too much value on it. But considering the very real production slow downs, it appears Rolex is still having an issue with the red/blue bezel. Probably takes more time/effort than the other GMT bezels. So I think it will remain in production but at a lower number in favor of the others, including the new one.

I think there's too much choice in GMT masters right now.

Red/Blue - Steel
Red/Blue - White Gold
Black/Blue - Steel
Black/Green - Steel
Black/Grey - Steel
Black/Grey - Two Tone
Black/Grey - Yellow Gold
Black/Brown - Two Tone
Black/Brown - Rose Gold

If you compare that to the Submariner, which is simply black, blue or green... c'mon.

Something has to give - I think there's a chance we may see a mid-year cut of something from the catalogue, and I lean towards the VTNR because it shares a green GMT hand with today's GRNR steel release. Of course, I'm just postulating, but still, I'm surprised to see this much variation in the range.

Such a demand there’s no such thing as too many GMTs, for me not enough ..

I agree with this completely. Very disappointed with the recent disconnect in SS model variability between the GMT and rest of the sports catalog, especially as a submariner fan.

The CEO favours the GMT. I think I read that about him once

But still no jubilee for CHNR, the only outsider in the GMT lineup stuck with oyster only.

That would be a hot commodity if it ever comes to fruition

All new releases (virtually) were PM, only SS iirc was the new GMT, so I think Rolex will keep these SS GMTs for some time, seems odd to me just releasing such a large volume PM to cut SS .. those new Daytonas £100k plus …
I think they’ve been working on the Pepsi hence only a few received, they’re either updating the bezel or colours ..
my 10 pence ..

I wouldn't be surprised if the sprite goes next year. Looks like no discontinuations from the GMT line this year, however.
