This is crazy. So can the blue spring be installed in the non blue spring watches? Not that it would upgrade the movement in any way. I have been wondering if, once Rolex phases out the previous hairsprings (made by a different company if I'm not mistaken) that Rolex themselves will implement the new blue variety in all watches upon service?

You've gone and made the watch Rolex should be making (possibly except for the caseback). Nice work.

Of course in 20 years maybe all us parachrome spring guys will rue the decision, as I have read they are expected to deteriorate over time.

Sorry, it is evident that the blue spring can be put in non blue spring watches. I'm just wondering if Rolex will do this in the future as part of routine service.
