Great choice! I absolutely get the Patek brand and complications but for me they are just too conservative looking. Have several friends with them and they always oooh and ahhh over their Nautilus's but they just do nothing for me. I know they both come from the mind of Gérald Genta, but to me the APs seem to be more edgy as if they are the next evolution. As with anything else, it's all personal preference.
