Are watches individually numbered? There are two sets of numbers on the one I am looking to buy, just wondered if its a production run number

I think the older watches were numbered but don’t think the newer ones are, I’m sure someone can correct me if I’m wrong?

I have a F series 15300 which has a production number

The numbers on the back show the chronological number in the total production of Audemars Piguet with a letter prefix and then the particular No. for the reference. As of late J-series, the case backs only show the number with the letter prefix. The movement number is now associated 'blindly' to owners to the particular No. of each piece ordered by reference number.
