Will a Day-date 40 fit on 6”wrist?
I’ve got a gmt 2c that can fit on my 6”wrist without removing a permanent link.
Haven’t been able to see one in person, so will a DD40 fit on a 6” wrist without removing a permanent link? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I have a 6.5inch wrist and I had to remove 3 links from memory and there was still a few left.
I'm sure it will fit you without the requirement of touching the permanent links |

It should yes. And it's actually 38.x mm diameter, but if you're worried about links you should be fine.

Yes, it will fit a small wrist better than the GMT. When the links are solid gold, the manufacturers tend to be a little stingier You hear about a lot of guys needing to buy extra links for DDs

I have a 7.5” wrist and tried on a DD 40 and it fit me perfectly without having to remove any links. If my wrist was any larger I would actually need to add links.
I took a picture of it here. Absolutely beautiful watch. |

I like my watches snug, would this be possible or would it be loose like a bracelet?

The answer is yes. But I have to caution that 6.0 inches is very very small. I have a 6.75 and I have paper thin wrists. I who have to advise that a day date 36mm would look much better and be more comfortable.

A DD40 will look like a pie pan on a 6" wrist. The 36mm would look far better.

I've got a GMT 2C and it's at the limit in terms of size. If they made the blro in 40.1mm, I would have a totally different watch on now. If the DD36 can't fit then it's either DD40 or go home. Or vice versa. I like the DD40 because of the upgraded movement and the ceramic sleeves to minimize stretch and from what I can determine, the DD40 bracelet has more removable links. |

Will the 36mm DD fit in terms of the bracelet?
For those who say the 36 will fit, are you saying it will fit in the sense that it won't look too big- I get that point of view. But I'm interested in having it fit snug, never mind what it looks like. |

I thought my 7.5" wrist was skinny. 6" is really small.
Good luck! |

It will probably fit but also probably look way too big. A 6" wrist is a blessing in the watch world. You can wear all the great old undervalued vintage watches and modern classics like the 36mm Explorer I (that is a grand or two cheaper than the newer 39mm version)....stop fighting it, embrace the smallness.

I think you'd be better with 36mm too. Go and try one; it doesn't need to be sized, just see how the case sits on your wrist.
Good luck.

Will a Day-date 40 fit on 6”wrist?
Well like I said the jury is still out until I try both on. At this price point I need to try on these watches on and decide for myself.
I have no problem with the smaller size- I have the 38mm Apple Watch. It’s just that I like the tech in the 40 better. If the 36mm had the ceramic inserts and the movement, I’d probably go for that. Another option would be the rg Daytona- that I know fits. Or the yg sub. But I do like that president bracelet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

if your wearing a GMT2c the DD40 wears smaller than the sports model Rolex's. So the size of the DD40 will be no issues at all.
I own both. |

^ people saying 36 don't get you say the blro works fine on you. The dd40 gets a tad smaller than blro
Let's see a wrist pic with blro on |

I'd go with the 36, which is timeless and will look good when the huge watch trend ends.

I have 6.5 inch wrists and have wrestled over whether to get the 36 or 40. It is disappointing the new 36mm watches do not have the new movement, ceramic inserts in the bracelets and the new integrated bracelet. This weighs me towards the 40 as it is a big improvement over the 36. Downside to the 40mm is the new dials are very limited in sticks if you like the sticks and lume. In yellow your choice on a traditional dial is champagne or black. 36 mm have lots of dial choices. With smaller wrists as you and I have it becomes a real conundrum as to which size to get. A final note I think the 40 is really too big in smaller wrists as it is a dress watch not a sports watch. The beauty of the DD is to see the drape of the bracelet which is totally lost on the 40 where all you see is the watch on a small wrist. 39mm might have been the ideal size on the new watch. Something for more people.

Plus, at this point we only have the OP's word that the BLRO works fine on his wrist. We've yet to see photographic evidence. |

I have a 6 1/2 inch wrist. I wear my 36mm WG Day-Date. Had to have two or three links taken out. Perfect fit. Make sure you save the links if you have any taken out.

The dial size is a concern- I felt the sub-c fit better than the 39mm exp 1 due to the dial size. If the watch fits you must flip!

That GMT looks fine on you and so will a DD40. We have similar size wrists.
