Thanks for sharing - just signed up to back the build your own for $170.
Went on there website and the level of customization for the money is pretty awesome. You can select the case finish, dial, hands (hour/minute and second), strap, case back engraving or exhibition case back with printing.

Not bad, but I'm not a huge fan of the vertical chrono layout.
There will be another vintage inspired chrono project soon on Kickstarter. Check them out @balticwatches. I think the design is sweet. It's a manual wind watch and assembled in France (parts will be from China, no doubt). |
