Rolex authenticity question: updated with photo in thread
Hi There, I purchased a Rolex from a dealer and now I’m considering selling. It’s authenticity has been called into doubt and I’m very confused. I have feedback someone who saw a photo. Could you all take a look and see if you see what they are talking about?

Apologies, I’m having trouble getting a photo of the right size for the forum that’s of any use.

Why not contact the dealer?
For us to help you're also going to have to give some better pictures than that. |

Looks a bit funny to me, but it could be the super low-res pic?

Are those polished center links ?... If yes, there is a good chance it's fake.

Yup, and the 7:00 SEL isn't flush with the case.

Hmmm, I can’t post links yet, so I’m struggling to share photos of any use.

Pic is super crappy, try using Tapatalk app for uploading better pics.
However this does not look good, given the lumedots and the space between the lugs and the bracelet. The bezel also seems to be off... I’d say, get rid of this bad watch back to your dealer and get your money back |

I hate to be a skeptic, but everything about this thread reeks of someone fishing for information to be used for nefarious purposes.

Looks all types of wrong. Contact that dealer ASAP. Hopefully you used an Amex which gives you some type of protection against counterfeit purchases.

Sigh, waiting to link until 10 posts,
plus the low photo size limit is flummoxing me. Does it work if post the link directly? Nope, tried that, did not work. Sorry, for the poor quality of the other one, and to the person concerned, no ulterior motive. I’m just someone who is confused and upset over the watch they own. |

Sub didn’t come with PCL
The hands don’t appear to match the hour markers and look terrible The bracelet gap at the lug is either a sign of poor craftsmanship or prior damage. Photo quality is garbage so it’s tough to tell what’s going on, but it looks like something is definitely not right with this watch. - Sent via iPhone. Please excuse any typos or brevity in my message

Wouldn’t I need to post a link to show a photo from imgur.
Very much appreciate your patience on my struggling to post and feedback you have offered so far? I have a scale at my work, how definitive would the weight be? It’s a Lab scale so it’s very precise. I bought the watch back in ~2009 or so and I even had it cleaned and serviced by a Rolex dealership, who said it was authentic. Now I’m in a city with no Rolex dealership so I can’t have it certified without sending it away. |

Th OP knows it is a fake. There are high quality fakes, low quality fakes and absolute garbage fakes. That is a garbage fake.

Can't say much without a clear pic. However, the dots are the main giveaway from whatever I can see.
