Yes. I believe up to +15 is within APs parameters.

I've read that the 3120 is a very robust movement -similar to Rolex's 3135, and therefore great for daily wear and bumps/bruises associated with that.

But is it well established that it's not an accurate movement? I'm seriously thinking about ROO diver, and this would be somewhat of a deal breaker for me.

No, the range is -1 – +10, but if you ask APSC, they’ll regulate it finer for no charge.
Obviously you’ll be without it for a couple of weeks, but if tighter regulation is what you want, then the inconvenience would be worth it.

I was just going off what I read on trf prior. Let’s just say that I’ve had numerous APs fun off by 10-15 seconds fast and I really don’t care. It’s like having supermodel and complaining she’s too tall.

It is running +10 seconds per day. So I don't think it is was accurate nor as robust as the Rolex movement, at least by my personal experience.

Mine is running pretty tight to actual. If you want precision then quartz is the best bet !

best AP is 44mm CE (same base 3120) running at .25 sec/day. worst is running at about +10 sec/day after 5+ years. I used to obsess about accuracy now its a more a pain to try to set to the exact time down to the second every time I rotate watches.

Just had my 14800 back from a complete service and it is running approximately +12 per 24 hrs. Doesn’t bother me. I have two Rolex oyster quartz models and they run at +1 second or less a month.

+5/-2 is my bench mark. If its out side of that I would get it regulated.

Just curious, which other movements have an instantaneous date change exactly at 12 like the 3120? Apparently its not a simple feat..
