Two is not such a high number

First, hi everyone! Been reading and learning on the forum for a while, even made a few trades in the past. My interest in watches began when I was 10 and my godfather bought me my first mechanical watch, it was a Russian made Raketa (that’s pretty much all you could get in Eastern Europe in the early 80’s). I managed to find an exact copy of that watch and it sits on my desk, a reminder of where it all started.

Fast forward quite a few years, I managed to expand my collection to include a few Panerai and some other smaller brands...I have owned Rolex before but never developed the right affinity for the brand. That is until now. Took the time to study and the watch obsession is back in full force (my wife is a bit desperate :)...and in the past month I bought a GMT Master II and a DJ 41. Hope to keep up the good work! Would love a BLRO but no patience...and the crazy gray prices are not a real option.

I want to thank everyone for making this forum a great place, my retreat and moment of quiet in the midst of a demanding career.

Here are a few pics.

Thanks for reading my post and I look forward to continuing my journey with all the wonderful folks on this forum. Cheers!

P.S. Thank you OCRolexguy for another amazing transaction and an absolutely spotless/mint DJ 41! There will be more!

That a great pair to have; try staying on the board and keeping it that way. If you can you're a better man than I am, Gunga Din!!!
