Great thread! Never knew about the Octopus model. Really cool stuff. If I was a collector I'd definitely want one of these!! I prefer it over the COMEX version.

My 16600 is one piece i'll never get rid of, i'm lucky to have one. I predict the 16600 is going to be hard to come by and very desirable in the years to come. Glad to be apart of the club!

Great thread, I had never seen the Octopus, very cool. Here's my Z serial, it was running 10 secs fast and I got it adjusted on Friday. Today it's 12 secs off, so 3 secs per day, not bad.
