Hi All,

I'm starting to hunt for a TT Rolex. I'm looking at the black dial sub 16613 and a GMT 16573 black nipple dial on oyster bracelet.

As for function I don't really need a GMT as I've got the batman for the task.

The sub feels classic and a safe choice plus it is almost 20 years newer than the 16573 therefore I think will have less problems for normal wear or say dipping in the pool.

The 16573 black dial with nipple indices plus an acrylic crystal is breathtaking, but I am worried with its age in the long run and not confident to do daily activities with it.

Watches I currently own are more contemporary and never owned any 5 digit rolexes before. Can someone give me some input on these two models please.
