Installed the Uncle Seiko 1171 "President" on my Speedmaster

Been wearing it on a NATO since I bought it as I can't stand the modern Omega Bracelet.

HUGE Improvement!

Looks great. I have several Uncle Seiko bracelets and they are a good quality product. I may have to try one on an Omega.

Looks nice and the clasp is almost OEM upside down.

Bracelet looks like a different colour to the watch case.

Sorry, not for me.

I got my my uncle seiko band a few weeks ago. I am very impressed with it as well. My only gripe about it was that it was very difficult to get the pins out to size for the first time.

Nice! I struggled installing it and decided to have my watchmaker do it. I didn't want to scratch the lugs. He installed it and sized it in like 2 minutes...I guess if you do it all day.

Love it!!!..I debated asking a professional to brush out the bling in the original band, one of the few weaknesses in the watch (IMHO).

Looks awesome!

Are you happy with the quality, weight/heft?

Like it better than the original Speedy bracelet. And Matt, LOVE the silver sub dials!

Totally pleased. Original 1171 bracelets are a bit obscene price wise, so this really fit the bill at a very reasonable price, basically $100 shipped.

If I could compare it to anything, it's very similar in feel to the Oyster Bracelet on my 14270 Explorer. If you are a fan of the older jingly-jangle bracelets, you will love it.

The OEM bracelet is way too heavy and to me makes the watch off balance, plus the lack of adjustment really sucks. This thing has plenty of micro adjustments for a perfect fit.

Best thing I did for this watch, much prefer a bracelet over a NATO anyway.

Looks great. Do the end links fit snugly enough not to scratch the case?

The fit is very good. Very little wiggle. It’s a quality bracelet.

Thanks

Looks nice. I'm not a fan of the OEM Speedy bracelet so to my eyes this is a significant improvement. I think I still prefer a black leather OEM strap over any bracelet however.

i sent a message to uncle seiko via thier online portal yesterday afternoon after seeing this beautiful bracelet featured here.

the owner (Larry) has been extremely quick to respond and be helpful in accomodating my inquiry if this bracelet will fit a modern wave dial seamaster....even tho his website makes it clear that he dosent have time to be back and forth answering questions about fitment for brand X or Y etc..

Larry believes that this bracelet will indeed fit a modern seamaster and he has made the gracious offer to let me return the bracelet if it dosent fit when it arrives

I will be ordering a bracelet this evening when i get back home and i will update this thread when i receive and find out if it fits or not

for reference i have the newest iteration of seamaster with the ceramic wave pattern dial (300M professional)

God bless and have a good weekend all

Yes, I'm thinking about a flat link instead of 1171. Did you buy one? Thoughts?

Love it, this thread just cost me $100 haha. Went with the flat link bracelet with mixed brushed and polished links. Can’t wait to mount it!

Tolerances are really tight, so I had my guy do it. I think you will be pleased, especially if you appreciate vintage style bracelets. :)

I’ve had this for a few weeks. I think it’s a great bracelet. I’m sure there are minor variations, but installing mine was simple. Enjoy yours!
