True Tool Watch

I got bored while waiting on the lists for various impossible Rolexes so decided to go for another grail of mine, and I have to say I'm quite impressed! This is a true tool watch and Im glad I changed it up a bit and went for something a bit different. Its got great wrist presence and it might not be for everybody but I think its a beauty! So any of you feel like making a change while you wait I can't recommend this one enough! A definite keeper for me!

Used to have a Breitling Emergency Mission with the ELT. Ultimately traded it on a Super Avenger as the service on the ELT every time it needed a battery change was more than I was willing to pay every few years.
That is the ultimate tool watch though. If you need it, you REALLY need it! Enjoy the watch.

Thanks it’s just nice for a change up and I like the titanium look and it has and explorer feel to it with the 3-6-9 dial

Awesome watch! Congratulations. I do a lot of back country hiking and I would never trust my life to that. That's a good backup but primary should always be a GPS and satellite based two-way communicator.

Anyhow that said, I wouldn't mind getting one of those as excuse to buy another watch

Nice Breitling and congrats!

However, a true tool watch in this modern age is no Rolex or any other luxury watch brand for that matter. That title now belongs to digital watches and their ability to allow for near instant communication, keep dead accurate time, near instantaneous information, and entertainment, all for a much lower and reasonable price point. Furthermore the majority of luxury watch brand owners these days are too paranoid to actually enjoy their watches from fear of scratches and water that calling them tool watches is a joke.
