Tudor must have

Interested in purchasing a Tudor for my collection. Which Tudor is a must have reference for any collection? Kinda like the speedy is a must have omega.

I would say the one you’d use the most.

For me it would be a GMT.

That is one thing the bronze is missing that I would love.

I prefer 3-subdial watches. That is not the Tudor way.
For a Chronograph I would go Omega Speedmaster, either the Moonwatch or the 38mm line.
Two really nice Tudor watches are the Pelagos (think vastly improved/updated Rolex Submariner at half the cost), and the BB58, which are hugely popular for many reasons.
Really, Tudors are great watches. Everybody should have one.

I’d say a snowflake Sub, BB58, or Pelagos.

The Tudor Submariner is the one to have , it’s what the BB wants to be .

I own the bronze, GMT, normal burgendy 41 and will be adding the blue bay 58 soon. Between all of them I think the GMT is the best all rounder despite the date issue closely followed by the 58. If they offer GMT in 58 size, it would be the perfect watch IMHO. Bronze is a cool watch with distinct character but wears large and being on strap limits it's usability for me especially in hot humid weather.

That Pelagos dial looks amazing straight through that AR-coated crystal. Imagine if you could see the Rolex black Sub dial through a crystal like that!

The must have watches for any collection are the ones you want to own and wear.

I don't own any Tudor, but for me, the must have non-vintage reference in their current catalogue is the BB58 Black.

Exactly .........and sometimes what you think you want turns out not to be what you expected when you wear it regularly. OP I had a BB Bronze and just didn't gel with it.....I found out that the Bronze patina thing was not for me. But there are many who have and enjoy the BB Bronze.

There are some awesome watches in this thread, which probably make the decision even harder to make

Depends on your wrist size but for me it's the BB58 and BB36. Two really great watches.
