Glad I didn't give up on AD -- INCOMING

TLDR - Waited for about 2 months and AD came through with a TT CHNR.

Very excited to have taken delivery of a TT CHNR GMT today.

I asked for this watch at 2 AD's one i have some purchase history, and another I have a very limited small history (1 watch, < $5k). -- the AD where i have the small history came through.

It had been 2 months, and yesterday I decided to go to the store to say Hi, and remind them that I was looking for this watch -- chatted with SA for 30 minutes, tried on some of their watches, talked about my chances of being offered the watch even with limited purchases. (I live in seattle, so this store has no shortage of six figure spenders).

SA told me that they do not allocate based on amount spent, they like to choose customers that are genuinely interested in the watch. I felt that my chances were close to 0.

Today got a call from SA who told me to guess what Rolex had delivered today -- my watch! --- he said that it was good that i had visited the day before, the owner chooses who gets the watches, and they were just talking about my visit as they opened the shipment from rolex. SA said that they had not seen a CHNR at the store in several months. Just glad, and happy. Watch is beautiful.

Added a photo with my bluesy -- start of a TT collection.

This watch really compliments the bluesy --

The bluesy is loud, and wants attention. (love it)

the CHNR is subtle, and classy. -- the rose gold blends away in indoor light, just what i was looking for.
