Got my parents to love Rolex

When I bought my first Rolex (GMT iiC in 2007) my dad nearly fell over when he heard it was $6k. "What a waste of money!" he said. Now, more than a decade later, on their 50th Wedding anniversary, they bought each other matching Rolexes. They caught the bug. The last few years involved health scares for the two of them so I am just thrilled that they are healthy again and happy. Cheers!

Congrats to them on the wedding anniversary. 50 years is a long time.

On a side note, where was this pic taken? That looks like a serious grey dealer with some serious inventory

Thanks for sharing! Health is the greatest gift, but a new Rolex would be next in line!

you have a sharp eye. It is a gray in LA. They have been in business for 4 decades, back when gray was not a "4 letter word". Good folks making an honest living.
