In fact, it doesn't imply Eric is incapable of anything at all. I simply stated that the lighting on the left side of the photo looks brighter than on the right side, and that the bracelet on the right side looks darker than the one on the left. I'm still open to seeing more, but that photo is not conclusive.

Did not mean it to come off as defensive, I'm just stating that Eric is one of the most renowned Rolex experts, and he surely played with them side by side under different lighting to come to his conclusion. His word is more valuable than the pic. |

Aren’t these bezels more expensive than the 5-digit ones?

Ring them and ask. At the very least, it should prove whether or not they have changed the bezel! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I thought Rolex had a lot of difficulty mastering the two tone ceramic bezel. Hence the first ceramic GMT was the non traditional colour BLNR, as black/blue was an easier combination.
I also thought this was the reason the BLRO originally looked like it did (blueberry/cranberry)? Perhaps they have just improved the technique and can now get the deeper red and blue to work together. Just speculation. If so, I wonder if they can do a coke now? |

There is definitely some variation.
