Do people approach you with them, knowing your a collector or do you just stumble across them?

Cheers

First Rolex a M series 16610LV!

Got my first Rolex, a M series 16610LV, loving it. Walked 2 harrowing blocks in the freezing cold with a lot of cash for that...

A friend who has a Sub (but not really a watch guy) said the pic I sent him is distorted coz it makes my watch look green...

Kermit's case is pristine ( I used a loupe!) but it does have a scratch on the bracelet though, what would do? 1) Leave it 2) Buff it out 3) Change the affected links?

It looks like these have seen another decent bump is asking price lately, really want one but they are out of my price range currently.

Personally, I like the Kermit when it is monochrome. Perfect mix of maxi dial, larger minute hand and slender case size.

Finally joined the club & picked up a full set Z model, I love wearing it. Fits perfectly, excellent dimensions from bracelet to lugs. A modern 5 digit with excellent lume without having the chunky look of the current 6 digit models.

Yes they are, I love your M engraved Rehaut. I had my watch guy take a look and it appears it’s never been serviced and unpolished. It was running +7 with a very high aptitude, after 5-10 min of adjusting the timing it’s running +2 for the time being till I have him do a complete service to it.

Thank you for the compliment. +7 isn’t bad given its age. I bought mine in 2007 and sent it in for service in 2014. Not sure why I did because it was running just fine. I think I wanted to get all the scratches out and of course, it returned looking brand new.
