Hulk vs Bluesy

Considering both are virtually the same on the secondary market, which one would you pick as a one and only watch?

They’re both around the same price - between £9,500 and 10,500 are they not?

True, but the difference between MSRP and grey is greater with the Hulk. A Bluesy is not at all hard to get from an AD at MSRP

I'd go bluesy. It dresses up or down easily.

Haven’t seen those 2 options thrown out before. Totally different demos for those 2 pieces. Hulk all the way for me.

For versatility I vote bluesy. That being said, I think they’d be a great combo. I own the hulk and am currently eyeing a bluesy.

Most of the members on this forum are Hulksters so you
won't get a genuine answer... You either like TT or you don't.

That said , I am a Bluesy fan and own one ...
I personally don't like the 116610LV AKA Hulk and
my thinking is if your going to get a SS diver may as welll
get the 116610 LN. Even better a SD43 new Red Sea Dweller.

The Bluesy takes a certain personality or mindset if you will.
Yes the Bluesy is a fantastic watch and is very versatile but
you have to be ok with it's POP...!!!
Not everyone will notice but it does display Rolex at it's finest....
It's an icon in it's own right... The hulk still has a way to go...

It was my daily for years and I still enjoy it...

All that? get what you like , it's your money not ours...
What are you going to enjoy seeing on your wrist everyday?

116613LB bluesy. Much more versatile than all green dial/bezel.

Bluesy hands down 100%. Flipped my HULK a long long time ago. That green gets boring quick fast after the honeymoon period.

The gold and blue combo will last 1000s of years just like ancient Egypt times.

If it's your one and only, to wear, depends whether you like blue or green sunburst.

If your intention is to flip, get both.

Has to be the LVc.

I wouldn't have a two tone submariner, not even at 50% off retail.

Price would not be a consideration for me. I think these two models are not terribly versatile...I could not imagine either of these being an only watch.

Bluesy although very nice is a bit flashy for my taste, I will pick the LVc.

They will say 116610LV because it is harder to get. As if that matters. Truth is the 116613LB is far superior in many respects. Now, if the LV was available and the LB harder to get you can bet a million dollars that the LB would be the watch to have.

I could wear any Rolex I want. I choose that to be a 116613LB, not because it's easy to get but because it's a stunning iconic Rolex.

I think those folks who buy into the rarity aspect of a model are missing out big time owning a model their head says they should get because it's rare instead of a popular model their heart knows they want.

Even in the UK it will be hard to get now. You might have to buy from a Gray dealer.
