We bought a rolex to handle everything you can throw at it. Let it do its job ! Men 20 years or longer kept their rolex on their wrist no matter what, I love that !

I know that’s why I suggested SKX for when you get down and dirty and don’t want to damage your Rolex

Eh, just a sprint, see if it survives a beast

I'd actually be more worried about the bracelet due to all the climbing and stone carrying. Definitely want it on a nato!

All Rolex movements have some form of shock resistance but I guess the Paraflex in the 3187 has the slight edge?

Bit of a marketing thing I believe, how can you ever tell without a destructive test if it makes any difference between the two

it sounds like either would be a bad choice for you (and there's nothing wrong with that), but personally I'd prefer a scratch on steel vs a shattered ce insert.

It was 4miles with 22 INTENSE obstacles. I finished in 1hr 20min. I couldn’t imagine doing a “beast” which is like 14 miles with 35 obstacles....lol I couldn’t even imagine doing a “super” which is 8miles. But no scratches on the watch. Just a lot of mud on it was all.

Rolex will take what ever you can dish out. They are tools and tools are meant to be worn.
